make fit
Posted by jeff morrow on 28th May 2019
radiator was for a 1964 Plymouth Sport Fury. Big block car.
Dimensions were correct....as were inlet and outlet and transmission lines. However the flange on the drivers side had to be trimmed to clear the battery box. The top mounting holes were correct....the bottom slots were about an inch and a half too low. Had to relocated the bottom holes. Car is bone stock with the original core support. SOOO instead of "direct fit"......should have said "make fit". Worked out...just took over an hour instead of the 15 minutes it should have. Radiator works well doesn't get hot and recovers quickly after sitting in traffic.

The construction of this radiator is very good the outlets and transmission lines fit very well. I did need to drill two holes for the lower mounting bolts to sucure the bottom. So far I am happy with the installation.

quality product. running temperature dropped 20-25 degrees. good welds around all seams and fittings. only negative was the two upper mounting holes on car did not match up with holes on radiator brackets. no big deal, measured and drilled new holes on upper part of brackets on both sides and radiator mounted up perfect and secure. highly recommend this product.
